Tree Time !!! :D

Hey, Love !

So I put together a cute, little video of my family & I channeling our inner Christmas Spirit. Go check it out and tell me what you think (write me comment, boo!) and subscribe to my channel! My favorite part in the video is at 2:40 .. ahhh… I tear up every time I watch that specific part, and when you watch it, you'll see why *sniff sniff* *where's the tissue* I wanted to create this little video to be able to look back on these memories & to live in the moment once again. Love you! XOXO

Tis' The Season

As 85% of the population would say… IT'S MY FAVORITE TIME OF THE YEAR!

I am in love with December, Christmas Time, Christmas Tree's, Cold weather (sometimes), Hot Cocoa, ALL OF THAT. I am literally so grateful my parents raised me with this holiday specifically, how would life be without it?! I know some people's religion prohibit them from participating in any type of holiday, but I'm just here to say I am so thankful and excited for holidays like this (and Thanksgiving isn't even here yet! What!) SO! Here's our Christmas TREE SO FAR!!!!! ^__^

*thumbs up for me pictured in the most comfortable sweats ever. thank you, hollister*

We don't have a fireplace, so we had to place the stocking on the wall (ghetto, had to make do with what we had! serious LOL) And we got the boys initials :) Props to the hubby for putting these up.

AND WHAT IS THE WINTER SEASON without a crock pot dinner ?! Made a pot roast the other day. (forgot to take a picture of the finishing product)(it was stupid GOOD) It was so easy, place all your ingredients in the pot and let them cook for 7-10 hours ! I feel so warm and yummy making recipes in the crock pot. This, hot cocoa, christmas songs… I love the season. So grateful to make new traditions with my family, my kids, etc. Thank you for reading, doll !

Turkey Day !

Bae caught me slipping. Taking a selfie with JojoBear.

~ HAPPY THANKSGIVING ~

Today I was feeling awful. I had the WORST headache ever, actually migraine.. it was so bad I passed out because of how dizzy I felt, I couldn't even eat anything. Of course I debated going to the hospital or not (which I'm glad I didn't go now that I think about it), I didn't want to spend Thanksgiving in the hospital! Yuck.. So I stuck it out. Hubby bought me Excedrin for migraines, some multivitamins for adults, and food. I took a shower and forced myself to get dressed.. look pretty, all that good stuff AND surprisingly I feel better. I honestly feel much better after the medicine and getting in the shower. I did not want to spend Thanksgiving stuck in our bed.

ON A BRIGHTER NOTE: It's Jojo's first thanksgiving :D I'm so happy ! He's wearing the same bib Adrian wore on his first Thanksgiving! Except Adrian was 5 months old.. and Jonas is about to be 3 months, LOL. (photo below of Adrian)(look at how young Domo looks)

I'm So Grateful For: My family, shelter over my head, food on my table, love, The Walking Dead, being a mother, positive people, good news, random blessings, supporters french vanilla coffee creamer, PEPSI, clean water, technology, people who work on holidays, fluffy comforters, sunrises, and so much more… !!!

I hope your Thanksgiving was wonderful, what did you eat? What are you thankful for? Thank you again for reading, whoever you are - hugs & filipino sniff kisses to you, friend. <3

XOXO

Transitions // QT

Hello, Loves

Having two children, or multiple children isn't easy. It's actually the hardest yet most rewarding thing I've done in life. I thought just being a mom in general was so "Hard" and "Demanding", but I had no idea what I was getting myself into until I had my two. It's truly about quality time, making moments count and creating memories. Once today is finished, it becomes tomorrow.. which technically becomes today, so every day turns into yesterday. UGH, so confusing haha.

P.S I'm using all Photo Booth photos, for emphasis on capturing moments.

^ truth: a very restless mommy ^

^ one year old, Adrian ^

Adrian was our BABY BOY, our prince, everything at one time. I never thought I could love someone else, my own child as much as him. I know every mom says that, but I literally could not. Being pregnant, I struggled back and forth with how I felt actually being pregnant for the second time. I didn't photograph my stomach as much as I did with Adrian. I didn't really picture how it would be, and occasionally I would wish that the ultrasound lady made a mistake - and that Jonas would actually be a girl! I only wanted one prince, one princess. I had no idea how I was going to LOVE another boy, as much as my first. And boyyy, Jonas you sure proved mommy wrong ;)

Adrian was never jealous of Jonas, honestly. He never showed signs of jealousy, and upon bringing him home - he acted as if this was normal. He didn't question it, he just helped out and enjoyed his baby brother. He still does !! But recently, he's been a little jealous since I haven't been giving him the QT he needs since I was so sick, tired, etc. But normally, he's a sweet boy.

We didn't really talk about him having a baby brother when I was pregnant like other people do. We only said something occasionally, and he would rub my belly. When he met him in the hospital, he was slightly in shock in the sense that he was just really quiet. But once arriving home, he's been great ever since. He puts his pacifier in his mouth, talks to him, kisses him, greets him "JOJO!!!" , he truly loves him. I'm not sure if he understands this is his brother yet, we never emphasize on being a "big brother". We let everything come naturally, we didn't force the idea of loving his little brother, or anything like that. I feel like that helped his relationship with him. We never told him "who" Jonas was to him, he created his own relationship with him first and that brought their bond together drastically. Everyone's parenting is different, this is just how we did it. It helps a lot with keeping the chaos of jealousy in the house upon everything else.

The hardest part is finding a balance between who "needs" you, and who "wants" you. You can't ignore them both, in any given situation something needs to be done. Someone is crying for a reason, wether you believe this reason is valid or not. Jonas will cry sometimes just to cry. He will be fed, changed, burped, and may cry because he wants to be held. And while doing so, Adrian could've just fell, or needs help reaching something. In this moment, I'll help Adrian first and then I'll grab my Jojo and give him cuddles. It's not fair to ignore Adrian's needs, just because Jojo is crying. Adrian understands when Jojo is crying when he needs something because he'll say, "Uh oh, jojo." Occasionally I will have to tell him, "I have to feed Jojo," or "Jojo did a stinky stinky"(he loves throwing the dirty diaper away).

I'll be real, there will be times they both need me and I have to tend to Jonas first, which leads in the ultimate cry-out from Adrian. Which I quickly look at Adrian and tell him nicely what I'm doing, or I'll raise my voice a little and say, "Adrian!" which makes him stop crying and then he'll wait for me finish. I have to snap him out of what he's doing - which is crying because he needs me to come quickly (rushing me). Every parent is different, but I don't play that.. Impatience is a horrible quality I have and I don't want him taking that from me. So once I snap him out of hysterically crying, he just waits. Often times he forgets and is distracted by something else, laughing away - literally. That quick.

When Jonas is sleeping, or just calmly awake.. I try to play with Adrian a little and incorporate whatever he's doing with Jonas. He loves showing him his cars. If we're playing it's usually rolling his cars around, hide and go seek, or reading the same page on a book (lol)(he never lets me finish!!). I'll eat lunch beside him and watch Curious George with him. If he's playing a game on my phone, I'll help him and try to write on the blog at the same time. He's really the main focus as far as attention because Jonas is content just being next to me. When we nap, I'll lay with them both sometimes. I'll place Adrian's pillow at the end of the couch, and he'll fall asleep with Jonas and I at the other end. Or I'll place Jonas in the bouncer, and cuddle Adrian alone. I try to include him, not leave him out - because that leads to jealousy. I try to separate their attention sometimes also, since they're individuals and need one on one time. It doesn't matter if it's 20 minutes, just make those 20 minutes count with undivided, quality time with your babies. P.S Recently I've been napping when they nap.. it's been very rewarding ! Force yourself to sleep if you can, Mom's need to stay rested. Especially StayAtHomeMom's.

Your love life changes a lot to.. We've found the perfect balance now and I'm so grateful for that. I'm also grateful for a husband that sees quality time wether our kids are around or not. Date night? Most likely with two little ones tagging along :) Before it was hard paying attention to Domo. I was breastfeeding and my main focus was the kids. I was OD! I literally only cared about their needs and I never wanted to stay up with him - I wanted to sleep when I got the chance. Now that Jonas is on a schedule, it's so much easier. Adrian sleeps for the night around 9-10pm, Jonas sleeps about 10-11pm. Quality time isn't just sex, people. When we have time, we watch our favorite tv shows (we're obsessed with series). We watch red box movies, I watch him play the game, we make snacks and snuggle, OR we'll just simply be in the same room doing our own thing, talking. I can honestly say our love life is better than when we only had Adrian. Physically and mentally. I'm much more confident with my body, knowing that he's so proud of me for carrying and birthing his sons. I cherish his body even more, knowing he cherish's mine just as much. HA! I remember telling him I was scared to have sex again, I didn't know how it would feel in there or not (ya'll know what I mean). He knew the right words to say to keep me confident and reassured. Love continuously grows, it's never stagnate. Our time is full of quality, not quantity. I love having a meal waiting for him when he gets home, and just talking bout our day, etc. He's truly my best friend.

I suggest open communication with your loved one. When you bring a new baby home, things change. I'm so so so FOREVER grateful my husband understood where I was coming from, and helped me through the tough stages of a newborn. He never once complained, he was just there for me and was always caring, loving. I'm sure if they just gave birth, had a deflated stomach and sore boobies, they'd understand. I would constantly complain to Domo about my body and he'd have to remind me, "YOU just had a baby!" or "It's normal to feel that way,". Here's the time where you find where your love stands. Does it only revolve around physical connection? I'm a firm believer in your spouse being your best friend. I can't imagine it working out any other way.

Who is it ?! Is dat my big widdle Jojobearrrr man. Yesh it is ! Dat's my old man, Jojobearrrr! My boobie woobie woo ! :D

Take Care of You <---- I STRUGGLE with this, daily. I am so focused on my boys I don't care enough to take care of myself. This blog keeps me somewhat sane ^__^ . When I do take the time to take a long shower, listen to my favorite songs, write up here, etc I feel so much better. You ever feel to lazy to care for yourself? Sometimes I'm to lazy and I sleep rather then doing things I enjoy, or just communicating with someone other than a two year old. Make some coffee/smoothie ! Put some makeup on your face, and change out of those VS yoga pants girl.. put some JEANS on - not leggings (unless it's part of your outfit). Paint your toes. Take some selfie's. Find a favorite blog or youtube and get inspiration from other people! All of these things helps bring me back to Earth when I'm about to lose it and fly back to Mars.

It's okay to have those days where it's overwhelming and you just want to CRY. CRY! Let your tears out, and keep it moving. If you have someone to talk to, even better. Shoot.. hit me up on Facebook (Marisa A Northington) and vent to me. I love listening to other people's problems. No I'm not being sarcastic. I really do! Takes my mind off of mine. I have terrible anxiety and I get overwhelmed easily, my husband jokes me for it sometimes since he's been around to witness it for so long. I take things literal, I'm sensitive sometimes. I never stop and analyze why I'm really upset, Domo helps me with that. If you never take care yourself, you won't be able to love your kids unconditionally. You'll only love them when they're "good". Which isn't fair, because real love is loving someone through their worse as well, right ? You have to love them even when they don't understand you're tired, and you need sleep.. yet all they want to do is cry and tag team you ! Take care of you !! I mean you are the mommy, love. Mommies need time and space to!

Also, stop thinking you can do everything in one day. If the dishes can't be done, forget about ittttt (italian accent). Do them tomorrow, and don't let it ruin your day. Sit your butt on the couch and take a break, watch your kids giggle - dishes, who ?

OH! And if you don't feel like yourself, you just feel down and out.. drab.. etc. Get busy with your hubby, channel that inner Kim K. He'll remind you of who you really are :D *I'm joking, guys* *can't take a joke?* *come on, loosen up* *no pun, intended* mwahahahaha !!!!

^__^ my wittle boys ^__^

It's important, to have quality time with the relationships in your life. I have to many photos in my phone (Glad I got 32 gb, girl!!) because of it. I have a terrible memory, so having photos helps me relive the moments. Thank you, technology for making it easier to keep up with so many pictures ! Sorry I had to cut this short (as if this post didn't already take up all of your day..)

xoxo

Yogi & Big Boy Clothes +

Virginia's "Fall" Weather <<<

I'm having a love/hate relationship with this weather. I'm so sensitive to cold weather! I keep having days where I dress for it to be freezing cold, and it turns out to only be a little chilly. Then it'll be freezing, and I'm only wearing a light jacket. I hate Virginia, sometimes! Jonas has been so sick, I took him to the doctor yesterday because I thought he had whooping cough. The doctor reassured me that the chances of him getting it is rare, since I had my whooping cough vaccine during my 3rd trimester & tdap shot. He's actually doing a lot better now, but before he was extremely congested and had the worst cough ever. Pretty safe to say I was a devastated mommy! Hate when my babies are sick.. then to  top it all off I was sick AGAIN with a low grade fever. I believe my immune system is getting weaker because I've never been this susceptible to colds, fevers, flus, etc.

^^ Before we went to the doctors ^^ . He's only 2 months, but he looks so much bigger than what he is! People laugh when I tell him he's a little over 14lbs right now. We've also upgraded to 6/9 month clothing. Hence the cool, big boy outfit ;)

Big bro insisted the first thing he wanted to do that morning was put on his "ba-pack" (backpack). Full of cars and any other little items he can find.

~~

Moving on to today, I got Adrian a new cup today which he loves so much. He'll drink gallons of water out of this thing. The cup doesn't have a spout, it's almost as if he was drinking out of a real cup. And although he CAN drink out of a real cup, sometimes just having a good cup around helps monitor messes. And unless you have more than one kid.. you probably don't understand what I'm saying. OR you may, depending on how messy your cute, little one is ! ^_^

We love to dance.

Today wasn't anything special. I got up and got a few things from the store for the kids. Big pack of diapers, some pull ups, formula, Adrian's new cup. I can not wait for the holidays, this weekend I'm going to get our tree! Hubby is okay with a white tree, I'm so happy. We rarely have to compromise because we usually are okay with everything. (Thank goodness, because I was not going to let my white tree go, lol). The kids and I napped at the same time.. that sleep was the BEST. Only reason why I woke up is because I heard little tiny feet pitter patter across the floor aka Adrian. I think our days are chill for the most part. I rarely blog about when we actually go out because I forget to bring the camera ! I may invest in a new camera.. I'm looking at the sony a5000, just smaller but still good picture quality for quick images. Right now I have a Canon t3i, it's heavy and I don't know how to work it to great (my husband knows all the manual controls better than me)(he has to teach me every time lol).

This is the best snack ever, well.. in Adrian's eyes. Instead of buying the little cups of greek yogurt for 1.00+ , just get a container of greek yogurt. I get vanilla. Plain has no taste, and the ones with the fruit inside get yucky quicker for some reason. I also always have frozen fruit in my fridge, so whenever I run out of fresh fruit I thaw out frozen fruit and put that on top of his "yogi".

He ate this while I cooked some dinner (carbbian jerk chicken breast, rice & greens. so effing bomb!!!)

He makes it look like ice cream.

Rated R for REAL - Mature Minds, Only //

Good morning,afternoon,evening - wherever you are !

Often times I see our generation giving their most intimate part to people that truly don't deserve any of that. Let's be honest, sex with the right person is simply amazing. Sex with the wrong person may feel amazing, but it just doesn't feel.. "Right". You know what I'm saying? Is this post TMI? I have to speak on this, I just have to because everything is coming together for me and I just want people to think about a couple things(it's 2014, who's a virgin still?)(don't be ashamed girl/boy!!).

Often.. Actually MORE than often I wish sooooo bad my husband was the man that took my sweet little virginity away. I didn't understand how special it was! I'm going to be honest, I lost it at 15. Was I young or what? What the f- *cough* FRONT DOOR was I thinking? I had no idea what it was suppose to feel/look(let's all laugh now)/be like. I never even watched porn *cringes*. I had so many friends who had already experienced this, I thought I wasn't doing anything wrong. In fact, the person I lost my virginity to was the biggest jerk of jerks. He was hood (FYI, in 2008 it was the thing, hood guys). He was very... "nice with words". Popular. Attractive (not as cute as you, hubby). Experienced. I look back and regret giving that part away of me to someone I never dated nor spoke with shortly after that. I regret it because he set the standards for myself without me knowing it. For the SELECT FEW people who knew about it - word spread around and suddenly I had many guys talking to me because they knew I had been with him.. they figured I was "easy" all of a sudden. I rejected so many people once I realized what they wanted.

It was SO bad, that one guy I actually liked boldly asked me, "Are we going to do anything?" our first time hanging out. (Let's just say he almost got his face chopped off..)(I literally went off on him). I was so upset around this time.. I felt so disgusting, yet carried myself confidently. Then the other half of me felt cool because again, most of my friends were not new to this and sex was just the thing. Even though I quickly gave my precious part to a jackbutt, I wasn't "that girl" people were claiming me to be. No, I wasn't easy. No, I wasn't a whore. No, I didn't just sleep with anyone. I wanted to scream, "Attention: I only had sex because I really liked this guy and apparently I'm a 15 year old naive person, but hey, who isn't?!" . I really liked that jackbutt, and I remember before doing it (I literally cringe thinking about him) I was nervous. During, I didn't know how it was suppose to feel and I felt uncomfortable. It wasn't pleasant, guys! There was even a moment I asked, "Umm.. are you okay?". I WAS THAT CLUELESS. It didn't feel right and anyone after that never felt right. Because sex isn't suppose to feel wrong. You're not suppose to feel guilty, or question the person you let in (no pun intended, gutter mind). NOW, I understand some people just love to have sex with any and everyone, I am not judging you and this has nothing to do with you. This is for the people who really, truly, unintentionally have led themselves in situations with messed up people, who've left them feeling e m p t y.

all about that 7am toilet selfie life today..

I'm writing this to say I understand where you are coming from, honey bun. You aren't a whore. You've slept with 5 people? No you are not a whore. Maybe a nympho... JK! But you are not wrong. NUMBERS do not mean anything(for the most part). The reality is we do things for different reasons. A lot of us find ourselves in situations where we give a part of us because we believe we're going to receive what we want in return, or something more. Or sometimes we just do something because it's just an option to do, and something in your brain is telling you its okay. When I met my husband, I still had no idea how it was suppose to feel like. I didn't know that people could put "emotion" into sex. I thought it was a black and white type thing, no gray area. I had no idea how sacred it was. By that I mean, I never felt safe or trusting with the other person. I never knew you could feel like that. I WAS SO CLUELESS. My husband showed me this side I never experienced.

It was saying, "I Love You." with your body.
Your warmth, your tenderness, comfort.

I felt emotions pouring out of me. It just felt right. I'm grateful I haven't given many people that part of me for this specific reason. Sex with the right person never feels wrong. You lose yourself, physically because you trust them with your body. It's not black and white. It's not straight to the point. It's special, it's comforting, it's emotional. It's saying I LOVE YOU with your body. You don't get this from everyone.. it doesn't feel so rushed and uncomfortable. You aren't afraid to show all parts of your body, your flaws. Those stretch marks mean nothing, you forget your gut is there, you may have skipped a day of shaving (that moment when you're like, "HOLY CRAP I FORGOT TO SHAVE." and he's like, "IT'S ALL GOOD!" and then you start quoting the bible. *thank you, baby Jesus*) (I'm so weak typing this) and it STILL doesn't matter.. because with the right person, it's okay.

So here's the thing.. stop giving yourself up to people who don't care about you. Stop being vulnerable.. or better yet, stop letting these people prey on you when you're vulnerable. They don't deserve that part of you, honestly. Once you know the difference people can't set the standard for you anymore. You'll set your own standards. It takes living + learning, but if I could go back I'd take a few moments back. This may be more relevant to girls than guys. Maybe I'm creating a double standard? But honestly, think about it.

I just feel good, knowing the person I'm giving my precious little part to is someone I'm in love with, cares about my well being, is careful with me, etc. I can officially give my all and let go during that intimate time - and it feels real. I mean.. forehead kisses then a hefty booty smack during your intimate moments? How sweet is that.. ? Because lets be honest !! Some of you play the role of a porn star or something to hide the fact that you're TRULY uncomfortable with the person you're giving the badooty to :D You pretend you're a freak, but you're really just trying to force something passionate that's not really there. But that's none of my business… (where's my tea??)(extra sugar, please)(no tea, no shade.. ) . It feels good to feel intimately honest. IT also shows how much love and respect you have for yourself.

I could go on and on, love. But I'm just going to stop and say if you're giving your precious badooty away, STOP. Save it for someone who will love you and your badooty for what you are. Someone who wants to stop and kiss your forehead, tell you they love you and then give you a hefty booty smack (that awkward moment when you're like, "dang, that actually really hurt!"). Ya'll know what I'm talking about.. don't be childish. But find that person !! Bring emotion to your sex life. It SHOULD mean something. It's special. It's sacred. OKAY?! I'm sharing this with you, because I care and I want you to experience the best of the best.. So take care of yourself, and don't give that BADOOTY away to just anyone! Hormones are just hormones, emotions are different. End the hurt, protect yourself. OKAY?! okay.

I'm out, enjoy your day.. hopefully this post didn't OFFEND anyone *sarcasm**no seriously, idc*

P.S Don't be a whore, masturbate.

love you guys, xoxo
